We urgently need your support to overcome a critical financial hurdle. This year, our expenses have outpaced our income by a
staggering $22,000, primarily driven by the soaring costs of veterinary care.
Each dollar we receive is not just a number;
it represents hope, healing, and a chance at a new life for animals in our care.
Please help us turn the tide on this
financial challenge and ensure that Pets Bring Joy continues to be a beacon of hope for homeless animals in need.
From Kabul, Afghanistan to Fairfax, Va, Snow found the medical treatment he needed
Snow: An International Traveler
Snow is a resilient 2-year-old cat who traveled all the way from Kabul, Afghanistan,
alongside 299 other cats and dogs, each hoping to find forever homes. Before committing to Snow’s rescue,
we were told he had a severe case of Stomatitis, a significant dental condition requiring multiple extractions.
A thorough veterinary examination revealed this sweet boy was suffering and would likely require a full mouth
extraction. Unfortunately, such medical care was not available in Kabul, having left Snow in a vulnerable state.
Thanks to your generosity, Pets Bring Joy was able to provide Snow the necessary medical treatment that transformed
his life. After his dental surgery and subsequent recovery, Snow blossomed into a healthy, happy cat, ready to
embrace the love and comfort of a forever home.
The joy didn't stop there … through our PBJ adoption services, Snow found not only a loving home but also a
brother kitty named Franklin to share his adventures with!
We are truly appreciative of your compassion to help our local rescue animals in need.

Oliver, rescued and recovered
Oliver's Transformation
Abandoned and alone at 7 weeks old, Oliver was in desperate need of help. Thanks to the unwavering support of
compassionate animal lovers like you, Oliver's tale transformed from one of despair to one of hope.
Oliver's rescue journey kicked off when the caring folks at Kitty Angels Inc. swooped in to save the day,
whisking him away to safety. Shortly after, Pets Bring Joy stepped in to assist in helping this little purr-ito on his
road to recovery!
Oliver faced upper respiratory infections, a flea infestation, and an umbilical hernia that required surgery.
But with a sprinkle of love, financial support from our rescue community, and a whole lot of supportive intervention,
Oliver emerged from his challenges stronger than ever! After months of dedicated care, Oliver not only conquered his
health battles but also blossomed into a playful, affectionate kitten ready to steal hearts.
We're thrilled to share that he has now found his forever home, where he can pounce into a life filled with love and joy!

"Thank you for not giving up on me!"
- Magic
"Thank you for helping a senior!"
- Khloe
We want to let you know because of your kindness, both Magic and Khloe are thriving in their forever homes.
Weighing only 2 lbs, Magic had suffered severely from a flea infestation and malnourishment, causing him to lose his fur,
and become skeletally thin, and unable to walk or sit up for periods at a time.
His bloodwork revealed that he was severely anemic, with a hematocrit level of only 11% compared to the normal 100%.
Despite all of this, Magic never gave up and through your generosity, PBJ provided the supportive medical care need for
him make a full recovery.
Senior cat Khloe came with a few medical needs including a previous mammary mass removed for suspected cancer.
PBJ was able to provide Khloe a thorough exam, senior blood work, a chest x-ray, and an abdominal ultrasound.
Your kindness does matter to every animal we rescue and we couldn't do it without you!
