Collaborating with local grassroots rescuers, Creampuff is on his way to recovery

Creampuff was malnourished and suffering from an upper respiratory infection
PBJ works closely with grassroots rescuers, who often find friendly cats and kittens living among the community cats
that they care for in outdoor colonies. Creampuff, an endearing and sweet kitten, was found by one of our
community partners in May. Abandoned at seven weeks of age and living outside without a mother, he was
malnourished and suffering from an upper respiratory infection. His rescuer, Candy Denkovich with Kitty Angels Rescue
(https://kittyangelsinc.org), took him in and lovingly cared for him until PBJ had a foster spot available for him.
In less than two weeks, Creampuff's life was transformed by Kitty Angels through careful attention to his needs,
including a bath, flea combing, ear, eye, and nose cleaning, and blow drying. He was also administered antibiotics to treat his URI.
A happy and healthy Creampuff
Creampuff transitioned to a PBJ foster home on June 23rd, and will be available for adoption soon.
We're waiting for him to get robust enough for his neuter surgery first, and he'll also need hernia repair surgery.
If you'd like to donate toward his (or another PBJ kitten's) care, please visit our
donation page where a donation of any amount supports our critical collaboration with the grassroots rescue community,
and enables success stories like Creampuff's.
Keep an eye on our available animals page
for him to make his debut!
